Is it free?
Yes! It's absolutely free to attend the festival, all of the events at the festival, and there are even free samples from exhibitors. The only thing you pay for is anything you'd like to purchase from any of our over 100 exhibitors.How do I get to the Vegetarian Food Festival?
TTC (Public Transportation)
Please consider taking the greener way... take public transportation! From Union Station Customers cannot travel between Union Station to St Andrew Station. To reach the Harbourfront Centre take the Yonge Line to Union Station and take the buses running along Queens Quay (509 Exhibition or 510 Spadina). Alternatively, those coming from along the Bloor-Danforth Line may want to exit at Spadina Station, take the510 Spadina bus south to Queens Quay, then walk 5 minutes east along Queens Quay. NOTE: In addition to the subway closure between St. Andrew and Union, please note the streetcars running from both Union and Spadina have been temporarily replaced by buses, which you must board at street level. For detailed route schedules, visit the TTC website.

We've been growing steadily for 28 years, and in 2011 Harbourfront Centre estimated that a whopping 40,000 people came out to enjoy some vegetarian goodness. Wow!Is the festival family-friendly? Companion animal friendly?
Heck yes it is family friendly! Bring the kids, Grandma and Grandpa, and Uncle Jerry too! We've got music, food, and knowledge - fun for the whole family! As for companion animal friendly, only the outdoor spaces of Harbourfront Centre permit animals on the premises.
